Happy Birthday Lucas!

What a year...Lucas turned 2 on January 14. It's hard to believe all of the changes that have occurred. In the last year, he has learned to walk, run, hop, jump, skip, scream, throw temper tantrums, talk, and much more. His smile melts our hearts and lets him get away with more than he should sometimes. But, he is our pride and joy and we love watching him learn new things - although we could live without ALL of the temper tantrums. Another skill Lucas has mastered in the last year is his love of sweets (hmmm, not sure where he could possibly get that from...)!

A Year and a Half

It's hard to believe that our baby has turned into a toddler. A few pics of him doing what he loves the most -being outside in 90+ degree heat and humidity and playing with bubbles. Enjoy!

We're Back!!!

Literally, we just got back from our vacation to San Diego last night and after a very LONG busy season, I am officially back to blogging. We had a great time on vacation. Lucas loved seeing all the animals at Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Kingdom. The highlight of the trip could have been when we were at the orangutan exhibit and Luke very clearly pointed at one of them and said "Da Da" very loud. He got a good laugh from all of the other spectators - Richard didn't seem to think it was too funny though :). We had great intentions of swimming while on vacation, but the weather didn't cooperate and it was in the high 60's most of the vacation - we had a wonderful time, but were glad to get home and back into the swing of things. My First Birthday Party

We had Luke's first bithday party! We had such a fun time - he didn't even give his cake to the dogs this time. In case you were confused, this is not Toys 'R Us, just our living room after opening MOST of the gifts.
