Six Weeks Old

Luke turned 6 weeks old today. We had a photo shoot this evening and have attached just a few of the pictures below. He gets bigger every day. You can see his double chin pretty clearly in several of the pictures - a sign of a well fed baby. You can also see his smile in several of the pictures, which we think is pretty adorable.

Say Cheese!

Luke has a new talent. We have been trying for a couple of weeks now to succesfully capture it on video, but he hasn't cooperated very well. We were finally successful this morning.

Clean after a bath! Luke is 5 weeks old today and is getting more and more fun each day.

One Month Old

Happy Valentine's Day! Luke turned 1 month old today. We went to the pediatrician and he weighs 9 pounds 10 ounces and is 21 3/4 inches tall. The pediatrician says that he is doing great. He has started to smile at us when we talk to him. We tried to capture it on camera, but could only come up with a semi-smile.

Will you be my Valentine? How could anyone resist?

It's hard to believe he is already a month old.

Luke and I in our favorite position - on the couch with him being held. We are definitely ready for the weather to warm up so that we can get outside and enjoy our time together. It was 57 degrees today and we tried to take a walk outside, but the wind was blowing very strong. So, we ended up walking inside - he was in his Baby Bjorn, so didn't seem to mind if we were inside or outside.

Sleeping On the Job

Grandpa was supposed to be baby-sitting, but it looks like he is sleeping on the job. Good thing Bailey is awake to keep an eye on Luke.

Bailey keeps a watchful eye on Luke. I think she may just like his Boppy.

He's almost discovered that he can suck on his fingers, but we are using the pacifier to satisfy him between feedings.

3 Weeks Old

Luke is a snuggler. This is one of the rare instances where I can actually put him down and he will stay asleep. He definitely likes to be held. For now, it works great, but when he starts daycare, he will have a rude awakening.
